Will Hedera HBAR be added to Trump’s US Crypto Reserve? Most likely Will Hedera HBAR be added to Trump’s US Crypto Reserve? Most likely

Hedera HBAR could be added to Trump’s Cryptocurrency reserve. When President Trump first announced that a US Crypto Reserve would be formed, the first three altcoins mentioned were Ripple’s XRP, Solana (SOL), and Cardano’s ADA token.

Since then, investors have been wondering what other altcoins could be included in the reserve and what requirements they would need.

Hedera Hashgraph is one of the most institutionally connected crypto tokens in the market, and investors believe HBAR deserves a spot in the US Crypto Reserve. Here’s why HBAR would make the list and how the US government may acquire additional tokens for the stockpile, including HBAR.

Hedera Hashgraph & institutional connections

Hedera Hashgraph has maintained strong, industry connections in web3, web2 and with international enterprises and institutions.

HBAR is governed by the world’s leading organizations and businesses, with new council members being added relatively soon.

Members of the Hedera Governing Council include Google, IBM, abrdn, DELL, Ubisoft, LG, HITACHI, Standard Bank and many more.

Hedera’s unique governing council has enabled Hedera’s DLT to be utilized in various industry-leading causes such as Hedera’s partnership with SEALSQ, who are helping develop quantum-resistant solutions for US drones.

The Hedera network has also been chosen by Filipino banks to issue a new, multi-bank Filipino PHX stablecoin, pegged to the Filipino peso.

It is also worth mentioning that Paul Atkins, the current soon-to-be SEC chairperson, went against Brian Brooks, a current Hedera board member, for the position.

After Paul Atkins won the seat, Brian Brooks, who is a friend of Atkins, congratulated him on being selected by Trump for the role.

With such strong institutional connections, Hedera, like Ripple, is on top when it comes to crypto and traditional financial crossovers.

Hedera HBAR: Made In USA

Trump and Eric Trump have emphasized the need to shine a spotlight on cryptocurrencies made in the United States.

With the Trump administration possibly giving attention to successful US-made cryptos, Hedera would fit right in.

Hedera Hashgraph was developed by Hedera in Dallas, Texas, with Leemon Baird leading the development of the Hashgraph network alongside Andrew Masanto and Mance Harmon.

As a made in USA cryptocurrency, Hedera may already be on Trump or Crypto Czar, David Sacks’ radar when it comes to reserve opportunities or no-tax on US crypto solutions.

HBAR ETFs and the Hedera crypto token

Hedera Hashgraph’s HBAR token is currently a top 20 cryptocurrency token going by the largest market capitalizations.

With a $10 billion valuation at time of writing, Hedera is one of the strongest US-made crypto tokens with some of the strongest traditional financial connections and compliance track record in the crypto industry.

The Hedera DLT and Hashgraph technology is continuously innovating and being adopted by leading institutions each year.

According to Steven McClurg, the CEO of Canary Capital, Hedera and Ripple are on the minds of institutional investors with multiple investment firms eyeing HBAR for an ETF approval in 2025.

Canary Capital and 21Shares are two top investment firms that have filed for a HBAR ETF listing with the SEC in recent months.

Will Hedera HBAR be added to Trump’s US Crypto Reserve?

There’s a strong possibility that in the near future, or very soon, the crypto market will witness Hedera Hashgraph’s inclusion in Trump’s US Crypto Reserve alongside other cryptocurrency tokens.

Hedera’s ISO compliance, institutional use cases, enterprise connections and made in USA tag make Hedera a strong candidate for inclusion on Trump’s reserve list.

Although David Sacks has stated that the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and Digital Asset Stockpile will be stocked with digital assets foritifted to the government.

Already holding $120 million in stablecoins and $200 million in altcoins, Ethereum in particular, to acquire Solana, XRP, and Cardano, the government may swap their current holdings. This may be how Trump will acquire additional cryptos for the reserve.
