If you are looking for a lightweight wireless mouse the Arbiter Studio AKITSU is a mere 39g in weight and offers up to a 8000Hz polling rate, which can be lowered to increase battery life.  It contains PixArt’s PAW339 sensor and custom Huano switches, quality choices to give you confidence in this new competitor should you be interested in trying it out.  The AKITSU also sports pure PTFE feet and there is grip tape included in the box if you happen to like to add that to your mice, along with a 1.8m long USB Type-A to Type-C for charging and wired use.

TechPowerUp’s testing revealed some inconsistent issues with the AKITSU at 8000Hz polling rate and they suggest you avoid it for now.  It will still work but you will occasionally encounter missed motion when first touching the mouse; the other polling rates work perfectly.  The driver for the mouse is web-based, working only on Chrome, but your settings are saved to the mouse itself so you will be able to keep your customization even when offline or on a different machine.  The wireless dongle, in addition to offering connectivity, has a LCD which can display the current CPI step, polling rate, MotionSync, or battery life.

That dongle may be what drove the price up, as the AKITSU retails for a rather pricey $140.
