The National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA) is proud to confirm that Carol Avard, of the Avard Law Firm, has successfully renewed her certification as a Social Security Disability advocate. The NBTA was created to establish an objective framework to showcase an attorney’s expertise and experience in trial law, benefiting both the legal profession and its clients.

Attaining NBTA certification involves a comprehensive evaluation process, including proof of substantial trial experience, submission of peer and judicial references attesting to the candidate’s competence, completion of continuing legal education, and confirmation of good professional standing.
Board Certification is widely regarded as the most stringent and reliable honour available to attorneys. These certifications are exclusively offered by non-profit organisations committed to safeguarding the public’s ability to choose capable legal counsel.
Carol Avard holds an ABE from Harvard University and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. She is licensed to practise in Florida and Massachusetts and holds the following affiliations and credentials:
