TL;DR: Woot has a refurbished 21.5-inch Apple iMac (1TB) from 2012 listed for only $179.99 as of April 13.
Good news for anyone who missed out on Woot’s $174.99 refurbished iMac deal last month: The exact same model is back on sale for only $179.99 as of April 13.
First released in late 2012, this ultra-thin desktop computer features a 21.5-inch LED-backlit display with a widescreen aspect ratio, an anti-reflective coating, and a built-in FaceTime HD webcam that’s perfectly capable of handling video calls. You’ll find an 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M graphics card under its hood, along with 8GB of RAM and an impressive 1TB of storage where you can stash photos and documents. Per Woot’s listing, it also ships with a power cord and a “generic USB wired mouse and keyboard” — they’re probably no Magic Mouse or Keyboard, but they’ll work just fine.
Mashable Deals
As a refresher, Apple technically classifies this guy as an “obsolete” machine and no longer provides hardware services for it. (Third-party providers can’t order replacement parts, either.) Still, this is a ridiculously good deal if you just need a simple computer for surfing the web and creating/editing documents — especially in light of the fact that it originally sold for $1,299.
