What to Watch on Paramount+ With Showtime in March 2025 What to Watch on Paramount+ With Showtime in March 2025

It’s hard to keep track of all the streaming services, but here’s what you need to know about Paramount+: it has lots of movies, most notably from its parent studio’s massive library, as well as a modest but compelling assortment of original content. March sees a bevy of serial killer stuff, including a dramatized version of a true story of one in the family, as well as sports, music, and more. Here’s our early look at everything coming to Paramount+ with Showtime this month.

Strange Darling (March 1)

Start the month off with a striking, nonlinear horror movie that surprises you all the way through. In Strange Darling, a woman and a man meet in a motel room for a sadomasochistic encounter, only for one of them (no spoilers) to reveal that they’re a serial killer. Things naturally start to go south from there, as we venture into the Oregon backwoods for a cat and mouse chase that draws innocent blood before it’s through.

Tom Petty: Heartbreakers Beach Party (March 11)

Paramount+ has a few music documentaries premiering this month, but Heartbreakers Beach Party is one of the most interesting. Originally shot for MTV on 16mm film 40 years ago during the Long After Dark tour, the footage has been completely remastered, with lost clips added in, and it’s a window into a completely different world. Even if you’re not a Tom Petty fan, this is pretty cool.

Happy Face (March 20)

Based on a startling true story, Happy Face stars Dennis Quaid as Keith Jesperson, the serial murderer known as the Happy Face Killer because of the grinning visages he drew on his letters to the media. When Jesperson contacts his estranged daughter from prison, she has to wrestle with the memories of her childhood and survivor’s guilt, even as she also tries to find out if a man on death row is actually there for a crime her father committed.
