Nvidia is set to kick off CES 2025 with a keynote presentation. Jensen and his iconic leather jacket are taking the stage at 2:30 AM (GMT) on Tuesday, January 7th (Jan 6th for some), to talk all things Nvidia. We’re not completely sure what will be unveiled at the keynote, but we’re pretty much all expecting a reveal of the RTX 50 series, and very likely something to do with AI.
Out of the GPU manufacturers out there, Nvidia is the most secretive, having seen nothing official about the 50 series other than a couple of boxes leaked by third parties, which isn’t a lot given that the supposed reveal is less than a day away.

What do we expect to come from Nvidia’s 2025 keynote?
Unsurprisingly, we expect the RTX 50 series to make its official debut. We’ve not yet seen anything official from Nvidia (apart from a possible Founders Edition teaser in a short video). But that could have easily been a placeholder render. There have been a few leaks regarding 50 series boxes, confirming the likes of the 5080 and the 5090.
There are currently 6 rumoured SKUs in the 50 series, with two being confirmed directly through package leaks; these are the 5080 and 5090, as mentioned (the rest are up in the air). Here’s the list of SKUs:
- RTX 5090
- RTX 5080
- RTX 5070 Ti
- RTX 5070
- RTX 5060
- RTX 5050 (?)
DLSS 4 may also be announced along with the RTX 50 series; we’re long overdue for a new iteration from Nvidias Deep Learning Super Sampling. DLSS was released with the RTX 4090 in October 2022 but was updated to 3.5 with the debut of Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.0 update, released in September of last year.
There will likely be a lot of information regarding the latest innovations in AI, as Nvidia is investing a significant amount of time and resources into developing AI-based server technology to further develop and innovate in the artificial intelligence landscape.
There’s a lot to come from Nvidia and CES in general; as one of the biggest tech conventions of the year, there’s lots to see. Stay tuned for more from CES as it unfolds.
